I purchased your cape pattern but the cut out for the neck is not on the pattern piece. I can make a cape without a pattern, however I purchased your pattern as it clearly shows in the instructions that there is a cut out for the neck.

Hi Patti, I’m so sorry it’s not showing up. I checked the pdf and I believe it is on page 5. If you don’t see it there I will be happy to email the pdf directly to you. Please let me know. Thanks!

I would like to make your eyeglass case but want to know if the size is large enough to fit sunglasses that I wear over my prescription eyeglasses?

    • January 5, 2015

My extra-large sunglasses fit inside – so I’m sure you would be fine! I’d love to see a photo of your work if you make one Donna :)

    Hi Sherri,
I came upon your web site by accident and very happy I did. Since the pattern was free I purchased the license as a way to say thank you for the tutorial for the Pretty Floral Tote. I really like it a lot. So cheerful! Your directions are very good so I’m am actually going to try to make it with the divider. I was wondering if there is a way to make the bottom more rigid so that the bag will keep its shape longer. Any advice you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Oh wow Kathleen! Thank you so so much! Hmmm… making the bottom rigid is a bit tricky, but you could slip a properly sized piece of corrugated plastic in after adding the lining and turning the bag right side out. Then stitch it in place by securing the lining to the outer, like it says in the tutorial – but in each corner, maybe? Let me know if you have any questions!

All you do is pick fights and criticize people on the internet!! Stop being such a know-it-all a lot of the girls on the facebook sewing groups take offense to your behavior….lighten up a little on people it’s not that serious!

Do you even sew? Someone told us you don’t know how to sew but buy the patterns and tell other people what to do! Try being nice Linda!!

I would like to see proof of your accusation. I haven’t been involved in any fights on any group … I just expressed something that is illegal and you can do your own research and I have the right to do so. I have been sewing for over 55 years, posted pictures of my bags and make all my own clothing so somebody is spreading slander and outright lies.

Angel Policies and Cottage Licenses are a figment of the imagination. They were dreamed up by designers and companies who want you to buy additional copies of their patterns, rubber stamps, etc. There is no basis in statutory law for these so-called licenses. In addition, we have not been able to locate a single federal lawsuit that has gone to trial over someone allegedly violating an Angel Policy or violating a Cottage License. No company has been stuoid enough to actually take their baseless “policy” into federal court seeking enforcement or damages. An Angel Policy is a load of crap. Do not believe them.

Wow no talent AND rude, insulting and classless! Yes, you have been booted out of at least 5 groups I was in for insulting and needling people!

You go at people and go at them until they can’t deal with you anymore!! The Admins blocked you from the groups! Read what you wrote here, it’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about! Rude and a know it all who tries to cram your opinions down peoples’ throats!
Knock it off and go away will ya!

I got booted off three groups because of copyright discussions. I didn’t ‘go at’ anybody and am on over a dozen bag groups and nothing is going on. You need to knock off your lies and slander; I’ve been sewing for many years and it appears that YOU are picking a fight; I never started anything.

You are more than welcome to join my bag group with 600 members; have had it for a while now… you can read thru the posts over the years and tell me if you find any acrimony and you can copy those post…. you have my permission. I don’t get your anger, hatred and wanting to pick a fight with me… I don’t know you and you know nothing about me. Be sure to join my group.
